2019-2020 Todd Williams Memorial Scholarship

The Redwood Empire Section of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers will be awarding a $2000.00 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Napa, Sonoma or Marin county. The goal of the scholarship is to financially assist an outstanding student who chooses to pursue an education in an engineering discipline or an allied science (e.g. computer science, material science, applied physics or atmospheric science) related to the mission of ASHRAE. The scholarship recipient will be notified of the award in March 2020, and the funds will be disbursed upon verification that the student has registered for study at an accredited four year college or university. Criteria for Eligibility
The student must be a graduating senior from a public or private high school located in Napa, Sonoma or Marin county. To be considered, the student should have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.0 The student must provide an official copy of their most recent high school transcript and documentation of ACT/SAT score(s) if they are not on the transcript. The student must be applying to an accredited college or university with acceptance to follow in Spring 2020. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted, with at least one of the letters written by a high school instructor or counselor. The student must complete all sections of the application, and submit the application by the due date stated above.
